Banana Cream Eclair Pie - Sweet Treets & More!

So I am always on the hunt for a good Banana pie recipe as it is a fav of a certain person! To be honest I have not had much luck making these in the past but I soldier on lol. So when I came across this recipe I was like "eh", I will probably make a hash of this one too, but none the less followed the recipe and lo and behold it was AWESOME! However with always wanting to give full disclosure of my failures lol, my pie crust sucked! I ended up using a store bought one later and it made such a difference. Now I am absolutely sure that the eclair pie crust is awesome too, however not the one I made! This will be a challenge for another day. So with that said, this is really a wonderfully easy pie and delicious. I even made another one later that week, leaving out the bananas and substituting chocolate instant pudding for the Banana Cream instant pudding and it too was AWESOME! So enjoy and as always feel free to leave any comments, don't forget to leave a comment on t

Chili in Dallas tonight!

So I need to update my recipes and looking through here I don't see that I have posted any Chili recipes that I use. Of course it could be the glass of Gallo Moscato that is making me miss the postings lol. Either way, here are two of the recipes I use all the time and they really are awesome. I especially LOVE the chicken chili, it rocks. So enjoy and let me know what you think. Chunky Chicken Chili - Aaron McCargo Jr. And here is the Dragon's Breath Chili... Dragon's Breath Chili - Guy Fieri "Chili concocted outside of Texas is usually a weak, apologetic imitation of the real thing. One of the first things I do when I get home to Texas is to have a bowl of red. There is simply nothing better." - Lyndon B. Johnson, 36th President of the United States

Chinese "Chip Shop" Curry Sauce!

So I love all things spicy and have many recipes for Indian Curry, however I can never seem to get a decent recipe for good old fashion "Chip Shop" curry sauce. So I came across this recipe, and tried it and with a little tweak of cream, it turned out really good. I have made this now, three times and I love it. I usually add Chicken. Using this sauce, I had Chicken Curry with home made chips the other night and I was a very happy camper. So try it out, try the recipe as is on the link and see what you think, and if you like add a little cream but only after you have tried it as is. Might just be my taste with the cream. So enjoy! Chinese Take-Away Curry Sauce - by TitliNihaan! "Coarse rice for food, water to drink, and the bended arm for a pillow - happiness may be enjoyed even in these." (Confucius)
